UK 2003-5 [Unbuilt] Hopkins Architects We have sought to develop a visionary masterplan that will create a lively, sustainable and varied new city centre community. Our design knits together the existing city streets and transport infrastructure. It recognises and integrates with the existing urban grain. As the development of the Island Site is seen as an extension of Nottinghamfs city centre it must be visually as well as formally and contextually, connected to the wider city. |
