Tokyo 1989 [Selected for the exhibition of Shinseisaku] This project was an attempt to compose movable and changeable units through linkages in all directions and various hierarchies. First, I chose that the basic form of a rhombic dodecahedron which is made by dense arrangement of spheres. From this, I derived a simple form -- "the unit". I combined these two forms in various fixed sizes to produce a final formation, exhibiting a hierarchy of internal scale. epoxy resin, plaster 96X119X114cm |
