As a result EMC: Electro Magnetic Compatibility has become more important than ever. Sony Corporation research into EMC for its products marketed on Europe and USA. The first priority of the design was to organize all functions of the programme (Semi-Anechoic Chamber and Shielded Room) with requisite performance specifications. Second was the selection of functional materials--most important ready-made insulated sandwich panels for internal environmental control, and a sharp exterior look. In the end, a balance was struck between the introverted space of the Semi-Anechoic Chamber and Shielded Room and the extroverted public spaces associated with the entrance hall. |
